What Windows Vista Has To Offer!!

The question we ask ourselves is do we rely on Microsoft's OS Windows Vista or the software we came to know and rely on XP for so many years. What is it with Microsoft they control the the computer market and yet they put out software that has to many flaws.
You would think they would have better decision making skills with so many intelligent staff members they have. This software requires computer with above an average performance to run windows Vista where as XP minimum requirements is what people can afford. Windows Vista does not offer a new file system which we all were wishing for.

Pros
The pro of Windows Vista are that the software was built from the ground up and being able to use the backup image option is awesome. It has a sleek look and better gui. The interface is smooth and sleek and it is easier to navigate. The security features Vista offer if a great improvement.

Cons
It is not compatible with Microsoft XP and needs much more performance to run this program. The software seems to crashes frequently and has very slow loading times. Wireless signals drops and the are a lot of compatibility issues that must be resolved. Microsoft should address these issues with service pack 1.

Vista Minimum Requirements:

#

1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
#

1 GB of system memory
#

40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
#

Support for Direct X 9 graphics with:

*

WDDM Driver
*

128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
*

Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
*

32 bits per pixel

#

DVD-ROM drive
#

Audio Output

Windows XP requirements
:

PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended
•

128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)
•

1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*
•

Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
•

CD-ROM or DVD drive
•

Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

To sum this up Windows Xp will be around a lot longer than Vista and is trusted by a lot more people than Vista. Vista needs a lot of improvement but so did XP when it first hit the shelves but Vista has a long way to go to beet its predecessor.
